She and her family came to Corolla to vacation in the home where she has come since her youth. And asked me to come and take some family portraits. My goal is always to be a fun and natural family photographer. They were dressed perfectly and just all around seamless in nature. I thought I wonder if they expect to get wet, and my question was answered when she said. When we go down to the beach, the kids will be in the water. Whew! It’s moments like this that make my heart sing. I just love to capture that free spirit moment where the whole family is immersed in the majesty of beach life.

I absolutely adore these precious moments… It is fantastic to have photos that you can look back on and see how everyone used to look, but I prefer to look at images that show me how I used to feel. I think my clients do too. That is why they want a fun and natural family photographer, so that I can give them the exact opposite instructions that you would expect from a family session. Basically I want to see the messy perfect imperfection that uniquely identifies your family. I want you and your children to be yourselves and have an amazing time together. You should enjoy every moment of your Outer Banks vacation and capture as much of that joy as possible.

Needless to say, this gorgeous family has touched my heart and now has memories to last a lifetime. After all you will only pass by this way once, even if we walk the road a thousand times.
