I can’t believe I get to do this for a living!!

I am so happy to share this beautiful graduation portrait session, and this amazing story with you as the very first blog post on my new blog. It could not have turned out more beautiful.

So, I had the pleasure of working for an extraordinary girl with a list of truly remarkable accomplishments.

To brag on her just a little bit, here’s a few of the many things she’s been doing during her college career…

She graduates from Virginia Wesleyan University, Virginia Beach, VA in May 2019 with a

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies.

She was on the Dean’s List for 4 semesters and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, as well as the ODAC All-Academic (2015-18).  She is a present member of the President’s Environmental Issues Council and serves as student representative on the committee.  As well as serving as Senior Class Vice President for the Student Government Organization and Vice President for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. For basketball she received all conference third team and national payer of the week.

All of this in addition to her long list of volunteerism including Norfolk Play Day, Sports Youth Mentor for Softball and Basketball, LifeNet Health, Marlin’s Read, Go Green, Bayside Elementary Tutor, Bayside Elementary Field Day, Virginia Beach Clean Up, Computer Skills, Microsoft Office Suite GovTrack.

She is an amazingly fun girl with a heart for animals and family, and the spirit of a champion.  Amanda is a beautiful person inside and out and with all of these accomplishment under her belt now, it is time for a new beginning.  I couldn’t be more excited to see the amazing mark that she will make on this world, and am so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture this exciting time of passage into what’s next for her.
